I was reading your thing about religion not being the problem -patriarchy is. I thought it was rather fatuous. Why all that intellectualizing and rationalizing?
Religion has been of benefit and has been destructive. Some religions are patriarchal and some never were. So why go through all that pseudo intellectual gymnastics to make a point that doesn't really matter in the end? You waste your time trying to look smart when you should actually use your time to educate yourself rather than posture inane ramblings. Why would I care if you believe or not either. Problem with people like you is instead of actually being a progressive you hone in your skills of esoteric blathering. I would tell you what I tell the rest of the people mostly on the right-be part of the future or get out of the way!

Susan... sorry... I realize now you were already looking at my bio essay. Besides where I went to college, being a parent, and some of my work experience, what in addition would you want?

Alexis... feminism has always been a big part of my life... a foundation of values that I took on as a teenager surrounded by my "feminist aunts"... and reinforced in marrying my partner Sally. It is encouraging to me as a writer that you find my blog mind opening. Would love to hear more about that if you would car to write more.

I appreciate what you are doing. I'm still trying to get to people caring about the educational process of children of color here in Colorado. What i mean is leveling the playing field for all children.
