<description>This was not only a learning experience, but a self-directed adventure, which is in my mind(is) the best kind of learning experiences you can have.
Opine
The post, which related well to the Daily Kos article was most interesting, and frankly a nearly honest repeat of my own experience in HS, which occurred in the 40s.
Educational processes for young adults have always been experimental, in the Nations schools. Across the High schools of the Nation, one can find the continuing process of &quot;just how do we deal with the young adult mind, egos, attention span, and develop them into caring, productivity citizens, w/o losing too many to hormones&quot;...and it seems to come down to this.
Parents. A set of individuals that take the time to care, to plan, to guide, to influence, to provide and finally to actually give a D... about thier kids.
Family. Extended Parents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Next door neighbors, all play or should play, active roles in the young adult development process.
So. To conclude, excellent post, well written, interesting and obviously exhibits the needed love for thier own.
